Unwrapped revealed the best of Perth's emerging design talent in a vibrant outdoor event on Mends Street, on Sunday 16 March, 2008.

Now in its second year, the event attracted more than 13,000 eager shoppers and featured close to 50 of WA's most talented new designers.

Proving to be a fantastic launch pad for new fashion labels, designer Kathryn Prior explains how the concept has benefited her label ADAM wore short pants:

"Unwrapped was great for me because it really was hitting my target market, and got the name out there. I think that the ADAM name is getting recognition now, and it is purely because of events like Unwrapped, where there is such a large volume of people in one place at one time that are interested in fashion and things that are a bit different".
